With the ski season close to officially opening in Whistler, people are coming to town in their thousands. The big Whistler events also begin to roll out over this period and the Whistler Cornucopia is possibly the standout. This year is the 17th edition of the food and wine celebration, and is bigger and better than ever.
Running for 11 days straight from November 7th - 17th, Blue Shore Financial has worked hard to ensure to present something for everyone with 10,000 people expected to swarm the resort town.
Meditation kicks off the event each day from 7am, and at 10$/session this is great value, having some time to clear your thoughts will be needed with events running well into the evening each day.
The Fairmont Whistler Chateau is the place to be for Nourish events where you can explore ways to grow as a person, whether it is through food, yoga or opening the mind. All Nourish events are held at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.
Mexican food is a fan favourite around the world. At Cornucopia 2013, Whistler's famous restaurant, The Mexican Corner is hosting a number of events throughout the extravaganza. Everyone knows Mexico and tequila go hand in hand, but they will show you that Mexico and wine can hold its own with their fiery fresh flavours. They will take your appreciation for Mexican food and drink well beyond the next levels.
Tickets can be purchased online, with so much happening you can call an agent on 1 (800) 944-7853 to ensure you get a great deal and not miss out on anything. With 11 days of events, Cornucopia is bound to be tiring, therefore planning ahead is highly recommended.
