5 Food & Beverage Spots Next to WHI
Posted: Saturday, May 19, 2012

Holiday Inn Whistler's central location in Whistler Village is steps from great food & beverage spots. We highlight just 5 of the great places to eat and drink literally within a 60 second walk from the hotel.
Avalanche Pizza
Avalanche Pizza calls itself
Whistler's best pizza restaurant with convenient
locations in both the Whistler Village and Creekside areas. And
Avalanche does offer really good pizza! The Whistler Village
location is about a 47 second walk from the Holiday Inn Whistler.
You can choose from a large selection of menu items.
Avalanche Pizza offers 16 different types of pizza for all tastes. All made with organic dough. Plus extra toppings are always available... of course along with herb garlic bread, salads, pops and juices. Open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
Earl's Restaurant
It's Earls. It's Whistler.
We probably don't have to say any more than that, but here
it goes. Earls Whistler Village Restaurant gives you the best of
two enticing worlds: It embraces both urban chic and mountain charm
at the same glorious time. Nestled comfortably in Whistler Village
proper, our patio is one of the last to capture the setting rays of
sun each day before it disappears behind the unbridled glory that
is the Coast Mountains. Overlooking the Village stroll, our patio
absolutely screams apres-ski, (or apres throwing yourself off a
mountain on a bike, or apres golf or apres whatever you fancy). If
the sun isn't warm enough, eleven swank Schwank patio heaters will
provide more than sufficient warmth well into the evening.
Inside, it's Earls at its peak: a lounge-style bar area for game
watching (or people watching), gorgeous dining (and dining room),
service that will knock your ski boots off...the works. They even
have a private dining room for 30 or so of your nearest and
dearest.
Mongolie Grill
Whistler Village, Mongolie
Grill is the ultimate atmosphere for a fun, friendly and healthy
meal. Independently owned and operated since 1996, the
Mongolie Grill has developed into a World Famous dining
experience.
Way back in the 13th century Mongolions would lay shields across
and fire and cook a feast of local delicacies. The Mongolie Grill
of today is way more civilized and always a Whistler favourite.
First you hit the food bar where you design a meal from choice of
yummy ingredients. Choose one of their delicious sauces from around
the world, then pass it to the chef who flamboyantly grills it for
you. It's a fun to come with friends, family or on a date.

Starbucks
Whether you looking for your morning coffee, espresso, latte, tea, smoothie, baked goods, frappuccino, sandwich, panini, wrap, breakfast.... well, you get the idea. Starcks is literally a stones throw from the Holiday Inn Whistler.
Out the door, down a short set of stone stairs and you are there. Shazam! Offering lunch, oven-warmed food. Starbucks Card mobile and wireless hotspot to check your email.
The Keg Steakhouse & Bar
This is really stretching it. It might
take about 63 seconds to get to the Keg from the Holiday
Inn Whistler if you are lolly-gagging, The Keg At The Mountain is
adjacent to the VIllage 8 Cinemas in the heart of the Whistler
VIllage Center.
The Whistler Keg's 260-seat, comfortable dining room is located on the second and third floors. Brandy's Bar on the main floor accommodates 160 guests, and is the perfect place to meet friends for cocktails and casual fare year-round. Featuring HDTVs throughout, Brandy's provides a casual and fun environment to watch your favourite sporting event.
